Jack & the Gentry

Jack & the Gentry is where the MLN Ensemble showcases classic swing numbers alongside pop numbers given a "postmodern jukebox"-style makeover. The project features Jack Sandison, a classically trained singer and former Jerwood Artist, with credits including English National Opera and Glyndebourne Festival. His background in opera and musical theatre brings vocal power and emotional nuance to the Great American Songbook. As the band’s frontman, he delivers timeless songs with sophistication and soul.
